Julia Gruner Entropic Motion feat. Liza Dieckwisch, Kathrin Graf, Klara Kayser, Bettina Marx & Nikola Ukic
Galerie Judith Andreae, 2023
Parallel to the solo exhibition "Entropic Motion" by artist Julia Gruner (*1984 in Lüdenscheid, studied fine art at the Düsseldorf Art Academy, class of Prof. Katharina Grosse from 2010 to 2015), guest artists who are friends of hers are showing for the first time their works in the gallery's second exhibition space. Gruner met them during her artistic career, realized projects and exhibitions and conceived artistic performances and video works with them. The group exhibition, which runs under the format feat. Liza Dieckwisch, Kathrin Graf, Klara Kayser, Bettina Marx and Nikola Ukic, is not only connected to Julia Gruner's works on an aesthetic level. All the artists share a strong interest in the question of "materiality" and how this can be translated into painting and sculpture.
