brittle and liquid is an ephemeral installation made of paste, limestone paint, gelatine, shaving foam, silicone and acid that deals with the liquid and solid qualities of matter.
At the heart of the constantly changing work is the intriguing process of slow drying, which over time reveals foamy, cracked, thin-walled, volatile forms and surfaces. At the same time, acids dissolve existing shapes and create unexpected, crystalline surfaces that grow autonomously.
