Group of work
"ghost" is an ongoing series with watercolor paint on limestone paper.
Since the smooth surface of the stone paper is water-repellent and tear-resistant, the paint can be washed off again at any time. This work was created in a multi-part work step, in which I applied paint and then removed it again. Partly, the drying traces of the paint are still visible, which create a divus effect at times.
For me, the traces of paint that settle into the surface are like memories that manifest themselves in the body. The body memory stores sensory impressions, emotions and movements on a physical, preconscious level.
